I enjoy taking the subjects for my works from first hand experiences of my travels around this wonderful country, from flowers growing in my garden and from shapes and forms I might spot here and there. I hope this Site may stimulate in more ways than one …

Port Macquarie NSW – Hints of the Hinterland

The north coast of New South Wales has many vibrant towns grown up around beautiful beaches and inviting hinterlands. Port Macquarie is a great example with a series of beaches, large and small, and a lush hinterland beyond. You can just discern the hinterland in the far background of this painting.

I have a real love of the sea and their beaches and am often torn between living in the mountains, where I have lived for over 20 years, and a possible move to the sea. I love the mountains, so frequent visits to the sea are the answer.
