This ancient range in South Australia has a powerful beauty with distinctly Australian colours.
The red earth here is vibrant and together with the clear blue skies provides a very painterly subject indeed.

The earth seems to fill in around you and causes a great sense of oneness and spirituality too.   I feel an urge to paint still more of this country when time permits.
